I know I suck at this blog writing stuff--but i'm gonna try to get back on the wagon!
Well, its been a long time since my last post, I went back to Indiana for two weeks and had an amazing time!! Seeing all my loveys was wonderful.
I've been back in CaLi for a couple of weeks now, living on Chillable Red (Franzia) and Champange. Right when I got back I got a job at a modeling and acting company as the receptionist. You're thinking to yourself, ohh that sounds like a pretty cool job, think again. It was cool, until I started getting multiple calls about checks bouncing, claims offices calling, attorneys calling, etc. Turns out the company fled from Santa Barbara to Aguora Hills, b/c they weren't able to pay their employees. My boss then decided to have the nerve to tell me all those calls were lies and that shes worked for the company for 13 years. Sorry honey, its not looking like you will be working there for another 13.
When I started getting the calls, I started looking for other jobs. I had two interviews set up before I decided to quit my job. I had an interview about 5 mins from my place (which is glorious) at an attorney's office. It was a success, I got the job!! I think its my Indiana charm, i've had that advantage out here, b/c people tend to be a little (aka a lot) stuck up, out here.
My second interview was to do promotional work for a drink called Neuro. Basically, think of me as a redbull girl, but with a drink that is A LOT better for you and events where you meet famous people!! To my surprise, I got the job---why was I surprised? b/c Jesse went to the interview with me and she had us play a game where we had to make a sentence going back and forth only using one word each. Our sentence was "Oprahs pissed at President Obama for time flying." You don't get it? Neither did we.
Lady Gaga actually has the drink in her Paparizzi video. They do a bunch of events, so its really cool! When I'm on a yacht with my homeboy JT (Justin Timberlake), don't worry I won't forget all of you!
On a side note, they have 6 different kinds of Neuro drink and they are really good. Hopefully the midwest will get it soon!
Cinco De Mayo (or what I like to call Cinco De Drinko), ended just like that---Jesse and I went to soak up the sun on the beach all day with a bunch of booze, not knowing that we were gonna have to keep our composure for later that night. Well, Josh called us and told us we were going to Cafe' Flore (a classy resturant/bar in downtown Ventura,) with some friends later. Me and Jesse, only about 13 drinks in, show up to the resturant, order a strawberry marg and Cuervo girls come around and give us free shots and that was the first 3 mins we were there. You can only imagine the rest....HappY CinCo De DriNko!
Last night I went to a place called California Grill that has 3.00 Martinis or Margs, and you get free grilled cheese and tomato soup when you order a drink. It was amazing, and I will continue going on Saturday nights.
